Stuart's Song

These lyrics are a song which was written by a friend of mine from church, by the name of Stuart Bowry. He's a keyboard player with a modern style, and he asked me to be the lead singer for the first public performance of this song. That hasn't happened yet as we're still working on the orchestration.
Had a happy smiling heart
When I realised who you were
So I gave you my heart
Opened up the door to my life

Asked you into my life
As I prayed away all of my sins
Wept as you came in
'cause you started to change my life

After a period of time
My life turned upside down
Confusion crept into my mind
And so I said goodbye

I wanna come home now
         (wanna come home now)
I wanna come home now
         (wanna come home now)
Home to the kingdom of God

I wanna come into your loving arms
         (into your loving arms)
And feel you take my pain away

I wanna shout for joy
         (shout for joy)
For the love you have for me
         (love..)

Oh God your power
         (your power)
Your power
         (your power)
Your power
         (your power)
Your power
         (your power)
Your power of love for him (him), her (her)
Power of love for everyone
Your gracious power of love

How do I find you
When my life is such a mess?
Where do I find the keys
To the chains that hold me.......
