The Sump, Laisse and Huneausware Railway

A Model of a Mythical British Railway Branchline in OO Gauge

The Sump Laisse and Huneausware Railway was created as a concept in early 1997 to allow me to build what I felt like and get away with using whatever locos and stock I happened to have, or took a fancy to. The name gives it away really (read it quicker if you're not sure why).

Obviously I needed some guidelines and boundaries, such as opting for British outline and a time period around the end of the steam era. To this end I have invented a rather suspect mythical history.

These pages are still under construction, rather like the model. You may find some of the text appears incomplete, or some useful pictures are missing. It may well be that I am already in the process of rectifying this, but please e-mail me (link at bottom of each page) with any suggestions.

Have fun.

The Effing Light Railway, referred to in several places, was the creation of my friend Phil Hitchcox, who models in 'O' gauge.
